2 Player Games Online: Play with a Friend on One Device
These 11 free online games have a 2 player mode on the same device: two people share one keyboard, or take turns on one screen, right in the browser with no download and no sign-up. Good places to start are Crumple Rumble, Steal Car Duel, Snow Rush 3D, and our own Impossible Tic Tac Toe.
Controls: in 6 of these games Player 1 uses W A S D and Player 2 uses the arrow keys. Impossible Tic Tac Toe and 4 in a Blow are turn-based, so you just take turns clicking or tapping. 4 are races, 1 is co-op and most of the rest are head-to-head.

How do two players share one keyboard?
In most of these games Player 1 uses W A S D and Player 2 uses the arrow keys, each with a few action keys next to them (for example Space or F for Player 1, and L, K or Enter for Player 2). Sit side by side: Player 1 on the left of the keyboard, Player 2 on the right. The table above lists the keys for each game.
Can we play 2 player games on one phone or tablet?
Yes, with Impossible Tic Tac Toe: you take turns tapping the same screen. The keyboard games need a computer or Chromebook; some, like Snow Rush 3D, switch to 1 player mode on phones.
Are there co-op games where we play on the same team?
Yes. Zombie Mission 11 is co-op: both players fight on the same side. Most other games here are head-to-head: fighting, volleyball, car stealing or racing each other.
Can we play online against each other from different computers?
No. These games are local multiplayer: both players use the same device. KoiArcade has no accounts or online matchmaking.
Are these 2 player games free?
Yes. Every game is free with no sign-up and no download. Some third-party games show a short ad before the game starts.
How do you decide a game is a 2 player game?
We list a game only if it has a real two-player mode on one device: the developer's instructions give separate Player 1 and Player 2 controls, the description says it can be played with a friend on the same screen, or we saw a 2 player option on the start screen. Games that only have online multiplayer, or only play against the computer, are not listed.
