Drople: how to play, where to play & similar games
Drople is a pixel-art platformer by the developer Zadzi. You roll a ball down tall levels, dodging spikes, saws, water, swinging blades and flame vents. The clock stops only when you reach the altar at the bottom, and every death costs you time. Its title screen sums it up as Roll down. Don't die. Grab the coin.

What you do in Drople
- Race to the altar: the timer runs until you reach the altar at the bottom of the level, and each death adds time.
- Hazards: spikes, saws, water, swinging blades and flame vents. The in-game guide says hazards kill instantly, but falling never hurts you.
- Three stars per level: one for beating a target time, one for staying under a death limit and one for the coin hidden off the safe path, for 225 stars in total.
- Checkpoints: touching a crystal saves your progress; Backspace sends you back to it.
- Ball skins and the daily drop: spend coins on new ball skins in the Shop, and play the daily level, which is the same for everyone.
